THE PROBLEM
Paraprofessionals are asked to do one of the hardest jobs in education — with almost no training.
They are placed in autism support classrooms on day one, handed a schedule, and expected to know what to do when a student melts down, refuses to communicate, or can't tolerate the sensory environment around them.
Most paras are caring, committed people who want to do the right thing. They just haven't been given the tools. And that gap between good intentions and good practice, directly affects the students who need consistent, skilled support the most.
|
*New paras start with no formal training in autism, behavior, or communication support |
|
*High turnover means districts are constantly onboarding staff who lack foundational knowledge |
|
*Inconsistent support across staff leads to inconsistent outcomes for students |
|
*Burned-out paras leave the field within the first year because they feel underprepared |
|
*Building your own training program from scratch takes months and thousands of dollars |
THE CURRICULUM
10 Modules. The Start They Need.
Each module is narrated, self-paced, and built around the skills paraprofessionals actually use in the classroom every day. Every module includes a video, workbook pages, and a narration script.
